Al hamdulillah, Allah has truly blessed us here at the Islamic Center of America, Madrasatu Ahlis Sunnah. The hope and prayer of having a full time Islamic school by those that founded the Islamic Center of East Orange has be realized with Allah’s permission.
It’s now our turn to move Madrastu Ahlis Sunnah forward to its goal of being the best school it can be. The foundation is there and with Allah’s permission we will accomplish our goal of being the undeniable choice for the Muslim children in this area.
We need 300 people to step up and commit only $100 a month to this effort. This contribution will allow for our staff to have the resources they need to complete this task.
Another way to help
Madrasatu Ahlis Sunnah is looking for 125 Believers/Heroes to help sponsor a student for the 2017-2018 school year.
The full annual tuition for each student is $4,990. Payable in monthly installments of $499. We’re asking for each sponsor to give $100 a month or $1,000 for the school year, whatever is easy for you.
For every 5 Heroes, the tuition of 1 student is taken care of. The old saying goes “It takes a village to raise a child” we say “it takes a group of believers to be Heroes and help us to educate our children in an Islamic environment”.
We pray that this is your opportunity for sadaqa jariyah, we hope with a smaller amount spread amongst the believers that allah will make it easy ameen!!!

Madrasatu Ahlis Sunnah also provides eligible families with lower cost tuition making Islamic education more accessible to the masses. This is an investment in our future. Be a part of this movement to increase the accessibility of quality Islamic Education. Cover the difference for 1 or more students every month with a monthly recurring gift.
Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala mentions in Holy Quran:
“And spend [in the way of Allah] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, ‘My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give charity and be among the righteous.'”
– The Holy Quran, 63:10
In an ideal situation, Madrasatu Ahlis Sunnah would have all full paying students. However, due to the economic demographics of the school population, this is not possible.
Most our students come from the North Jersey area. The majority of our students come from middle to lower middle class incomes. There lies a dilemma that the Administration of the school has been trying to solve since its inception. How does the school achieve its goals of providing its students with the best education while paying its staff? The issue at hand is that less than a third of the families that attend Madrasatu Ahlis Sunnah can afford to pay the full tuition.
